A: If microwaving, please be sure to use it with the Swanz Ultra-Light Food Storage Container. We cannot guarantee safety when used with other containers or used alone. However, it can be used alone with other containers for steaming pots or electric cookers.

Q: When microwaving, can the two-compartment tray and silicone base sleeve be placed in the microwave together?

A: The two-compartment tray is made of food-grade, high-temperature resistant PP plastic, which can withstand 150℃. The insulating base sleeve can also withstand high temperatures of 150℃. Both will not cause sparks with the metal body, and can be safely microwaved with the non-stick Swanz Ultra-Light Food Storage Container without danger. To avoid scalding after heating, it is recommended to hold the handles on both ends of the base sleeve to remove it from the microwave.

Q: Why is the two-compartment tray made of PP material?

A: Both sides of the metal steaming rack can be used, which is equivalent to combining 2 steaming racks of different heights, allowing you to use them with different foods and water volumes.
