Kids' Space Rover Projection Lamp | MOB Space Rover

The French brand MOB (Mobility On Board) introduces the Space Rover projection light, shrinking the historic lunar rover into a palm-sized vehicle with a projector built into its roof. It comes with 24 vivid illustrated slides to project onto ceilings or walls, taking children on a journey through humanity’s major space exploration milestones and teaching them about planets, rockets, astronauts, and the mysteries of the universe.
Accompanied by a 24-page guidebook (French/English bilingual), every slide features clear and engaging explanations. As parents read along and children ask questions, bedtime stories turn into parent-child space lessons. Guided by Leo the space explorer, it sparks imagination, a thirst for knowledge, and creativity. Once the story is over, switch to the soft nightlight mode, and the rover transforms into a gentle bedside companion to help children drift off to sleep. Battery-powered and wireless, it is portable enough for camping, travel, or visits to the grandparents.

Do you face these challenges?

• Your child is curious about space and rockets, but science books have too much text and static images, causing them to lose interest after a few pages.
• You want a new way to tell bedtime stories to reduce screen time before sleep.
• You run out of things to say after repeating the same books every night.
• Standard nightlights only provide light and lack interactive or educational value.
• You want to give a meaningful gift that is both fun and educational, with great design.
• Wired projectors are limited by outlet locations, and you want a portable option.

Why choose the MOB Space Rover?

MOB is a French lifestyle tech brand for kids that excels at hiding "learning" within fun designs and simple operations. Based on the historic lunar rover, the rover body serves as a projector, casting 24 slides from its roof. Combined with the 24-page guidebook, it is a complete space exploration initiation course. It doubles as a soft nightlight, serving as a cool space toy on a desk during the day and a story projector/bedside lamp at night—one product that bridges play, learning, and the bedtime ritual.

Four Major Highlights

1. 24 Illustrated Slides to Review Space Milestones

Rotate the dial to project 24 hand-drawn style illustrations onto your ceiling or wall, creating a large, vivid display. The Explorer Edition helps children learn about solar system planets, stars, and cosmic mysteries; the History Edition reviews major progress in space conquest—from the first rocket and first astronaut to the lunar landing. Lying in bed looking up, it’s like being in a mini planetarium.

2. 24-Page Bilingual Guidebook: Parents Never Run Out of Things to Say

The included 24-page guidebook (French/English) provides a short, easy-to-understand, and fun explanation for every slide. Parents can read along, add details, and answer children's questions, turning the ten minutes before bed into quality time. Children can also look at the pictures and tell their own stories, practicing expression and imagination.

3. Guided by Leo the Space Explorer to Spark Curiosity and Creativity

Leo, a cute astronaut character, features throughout the slides and guidebook, asking questions and exploring from a child's perspective, making abstract space knowledge feel relatable and fun. After the projection, children can draw their own versions of planets or invent space adventures—STEM enlightenment begins with curiosity.

4. 2-in-1 Projector + Soft Nightlight, Battery-Powered and Wireless

The independent nightlight mode provides a soft, dim glow, perfect for falling asleep after the story without being too bright. Battery-powered and cordless, it can be placed anywhere in the room and is easy to take along for travel, camping, or trips to grandma's house. The rover design is easy for small hands to grasp, and the simple controls make it easy for children to operate on their own.

How to Use

Usage Tips

• Works best when projected onto a white or light-colored surface in a completely dark room. Adjust the distance to the wall/ceiling if the image is too small or too dark.
• We recommend going through 3–5 slides each night, spreading the 24 slides over a week to build anticipation and aid memory.
• Let your child be the "Space Commander" in charge of changing the slides while you explain the story for better interaction.
• After reading, ask your child to draw their favorite scene or use toys to reenact the moon landing to extend their creativity.
• Remove batteries if the device will not be used for a long time to prevent leaks.
• Change batteries if the projection starts to dim.

Safety Precautions

• This product is suitable for children aged 4 and up; parents should assist in storing the slides and small accessories.
• Batteries should be installed/replaced by an adult; do not mix old/new or different types of batteries, and ensure correct polarity.
• Do not stare into the projector light source, and do not shine the projector directly into eyes.
• Do not immerse the unit in water or clean with chemical detergents; use a dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe the lens and body.
• Do not drop, disassemble, or store in high-temperature or humid environments.
• This product is a projection toy and nightlight; it is not intended for primary illumination.

Who is this for?

• Children 4+ who are curious about space, rockets, and planets.

FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between the Explorer and History editions?
A: Both feature the same lunar rover hardware, 24 slides, and a 24-page guidebook. The Explorer edition focuses on cosmic exploration, planets, and mysteries of the universe; the History edition focuses on the history of space conquest. Choose based on your child's interest, or collect both!

Q2: What language is the guidebook in?
A: French and English bilingual. Parents can read the English content and explain it to the child in their preferred language.

Q3: How large is the projected image?
A: It depends on the distance to the projection surface. Typically, 1.5–2 meters from a ceiling or wall provides a clear, appropriately sized image. The darker the room, the clearer the projection.

Q4: Does it need to be plugged in?
A: No. The Space Rover is battery-powered, cordless, and can be placed or taken anywhere. Refer to the packaging for battery specifications.

Q5: Can it be left on as a nightlight all night?
A: Yes. It provides a soft, dim light in nightlight mode. However, we recommend turning it off after the child falls asleep to save battery life.

Q6: What age is it suitable for?
A: Recommended for ages 4 and up. Younger children can use it with parental guidance to view the images and listen to the stories.

Q7: Can I buy extra slide sets?
A: Each Space Rover comes with 24 slides specific to its theme. To see different content, you can purchase the other edition (Explorer/History).
