Iron Wok Notes:

1. If a specific point of the wok is heated intensely (more noticeable with gas stoves) for a prolonged period, it is likely to cause discoloration on the wok surface and bottom.
2. If you use a hard object (such as a steel wool scrubber) to scrape the same spot for a long time, it is likely to cause discoloration.
3. After multiple cooking sessions, the iron wok will gradually darken.

Therefore:
-The above three points are characteristics of iron woks. Regardless of whether you buy a Japanese-made, Chinese-made, or even African-made iron wok, these situations will occur.
-Even if discoloration occurs, it will not affect health. Arnest iron woks have passed safety tests in Japan, so they can be used with confidence.
-If you cannot accept discoloration, or even fear this situation, CB strongly advises against purchasing this product.

First Use (Seasoning):
1. Please thoroughly clean the surface with dish soap, then dry it.
2. Heat on medium heat for about 2 minutes (use low heat for IH induction cookers).
3. After turning off the heat, let the wok cool naturally until it can be touched by hand.
4. Pour in about half a cup of cooking oil, covering the entire bottom.
5. Heat on low heat for about 3 minutes, then pour out the oil.
6. After turning off the heat, let the wok cool for a while, then evenly wipe the inside with kitchen paper to incorporate the oil.

Normal Use:
1. First heat on medium heat for about 2 minutes (use low heat for IH induction cookers), then turn off the heat.
2. Add enough oil to cover the bottom, then heat until it starts to smoke.
