Press the button on the handle to open it, and press it again to close it.

Umbrella fabric uses high-quality material

By weaving with 15-denier ultra-fine yarn, which is the thickness of yarn used for socks,

our weight is reduced by 50% or more compared to ordinary fabrics.

Even with ultra-fine fibers, each square inch contains 207 warp threads + 200 weft threads = 407 threads,

making it a high-density fiber.

Even with thin fabric, there is no need to worry about water leakage, and while the water resistance standard for ordinary umbrellas is 250mm or more,

VERYKAL LARGE has a water resistance of 696 mm, which is more than twice the standard.

The fabric has a soft and pliable texture, making it easy to fold and store.

Passed 500 open/close durability tests

VERYKAL LARGE performed 500 open and close operations at a speed of 6 times per minute,

checking for smooth open and close operation, and obtained evidence of no abnormalities from a third-party inspection agency.

*In actual testing, you can open and close with the button without touching it with your hands, unlike in the video.

Note: We conducted actual tests with the umbrella ribs including the canopy fabric.

Improved shaft lock structure

When storing the shaft, we added reinforced parts with a locking function.

By adding reinforcement, the possibility of deformation due to repeated use and aging is reduced.

PFOA FREE (fluorine-free) durable super water repellent treatment Easy-Dry

The fabric surface is treated with Easy-Dry to maintain strong water repellency.

After getting wet in the rain, gently shake the umbrella 2-3 times to remove most of the water droplets.

[What is the PFOA-free version?]

Most umbrellas' water repellency contains PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid).

PFOA tends to accumulate in the human body, and long-term intake is said to have health effects.

We have switched from VERYKAL LARGE production to PFOA-free.

Reason for sustained strong water repellency

Easy-Dry is a fabric coating that maintains water resistance.

By enhancing water repellency to nano-sized fine particles, we achieved water repellency that penetrates deep into the fibers and is difficult to peel off.

Water resistance tests involve artificially deteriorating the fabric, so it needs to be washed.

According to general quality standards, a score of 80 points is obtained after 3 washes,

but Easy-Dry has high water repellency, scoring 100 points before washing and 90 points after 20 washes,

and has been certified by an individual inspection agency.

Silicone gasket prevents rain leakage

If an umbrella is used during heavy rain, such as guerrilla downpours, "water transfer" symptoms rarely occur.

Water transfer is a phenomenon where rainwater seeps from the ceiling of the umbrella into the inside of the umbrella.

Ordinary umbrellas are equipped with a part called "Kikuza",

which is made by sewing umbrella fabric into a circular shape.

However, Kikuza has tiny gaps that are not enough to prevent water from passing through.

By changing the material of Kikuza to silicone, the silicone gasket adheres between the umbrella fabric and the tip of the shaft,

greatly reducing the possibility of water leakage.

Long wrist strap

The inner circumference of the wrist strap is 25 cm longer than that of ordinary umbrellas.

It can be easily worn on an adult's wrist.

Part of the umbrella rib resin parts, as well as the handle and ferrule, use polycarbonate fiber resin.

Polycarbonate fiber resin is an engineering plastic with high impact resistance among plastics.

In previous conventional products, opaque black material was used, but in China, where recycled materials are rampant, to prevent the mixing of inferior recycled materials, we deliberately added color to transparent materials.
