▌Treated with “Easy-Dry” fabric for strong water repellency and long-lasting performance!

After artificial aging and water repellency tests conducted by an independent third-party inspection agency, the fabric was washed more than 50 times and still received a rating of 90 points after the test. This demonstrates excellent waterproofing. In contrast, typical water repellency tests involve only 3 washes, with a rating of 80 points or above considered acceptable.

 

VERYKAL is manufactured by a factory certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, one of the world's renowned textile industry labels. This certification tests textiles for harmful substances that may affect human health, serving as a reference for consumers purchasing environmentally friendly textiles.

 

▌Tested and verified wind resistance of up to 12m/second

Under normal circumstances, if an umbrella is too light, even moderate winds can break the umbrella frame.
However, VERYKAL is not only lightweight but also prioritizes durability. Therefore, it features an umbrella-shaped frame structure and optimized material combinations and dimensions, allowing it to withstand wind speeds of up to 12m/second.

During testing, the wind speed is gradually increased, but there is no guarantee that it can withstand sudden strong winds in real-life situations.

 

During typhoons, using an umbrella may cause it to be blown away and damaged. Please avoid using it in strong winds depending on the actual situation.

Each unit is strictly controlled and undergoes 500 cycles of open and close operation functional testing!

VERYKAL has obtained third-party inspection approval. The inspection involved 500 cycles of open and close operations at a speed of 6 times per minute, checking that the opening and closing operations were smooth and without any abnormalities. Until now, very few manufacturing companies have publicly disclosed such rigorous testing.

The main part of the umbrella frame is made of lightweight and durable carbon fiber, a special material used in aircraft manufacturing. The main frame has a three-segment curved structure, with two segments made of carbon fiber. VERYKAL's main frame has 6 ribs and a size of 54 cm.

Many umbrellas on the market, in pursuit of lightness, reduce their size by decreasing the number of ribs to 5 or limiting the umbrella surface to 50 cm.

However, VERYKAL insists on a 6-rib main frame and a 54 cm umbrella surface to ensure strength and practicality. As of November 2019, it remains the lightest automatic umbrella of its size in the world.

The handle is designed with moderately rounded corners, making it easier to grip and more comfortable than a square handle. Even when held for a long time, it won't feel uncomfortable. By reducing the size of the handle, it also became lighter, and the material is made of highly impact-resistant ABS resin.
